Chris Gaunt is a charismatic actor and executive producer who made the decision to proactively exit a more traditional business career six years ago in order to spend all of his time working in the film industry.
For several years, Chris, his partner and wife Kathie of 32 years, and their two dogs traveled across the US where Chris acted in everything he was was cast in, including student films, commercials, and music videos.
This led to being cast in shorts and feature films.
In a relatively short amount of time, Chris earned 46 IMDb credits. He is best known for his work in Paint, Follow Her, Laurina, If I Could Tell You, Against the Ropes, and A Lasting First Impression.
Chris has another 10 film projects soon to be released including local film projects "The Monkey", "LifeQuest", "Americana", "Catch" and "A Convergence". He is attached as an actor and executive producer on several large projects in the area such as the very exciting episodic "The Fledgling."
A big believer in giving back to the community, Chris serves as a board member and volunteer for Woofs for Warriors, Inc., an organization that helps pair dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD. Chris is also an active volunteer for North Country Wildcare, a non-profit that rehabs injured wild animals with the goal of being able to release the animals back into the wild, and Open Door Mission, which helps those in need of shelter, clothing and food.
